others computers cannot connect to the internet through this computer?

i would like to set my computer up to be a server in my network,so i ran network setup wizard from control panel. But when i choose "This computer connect directly to the internet, the other computer in my network connect to the internet through this computer" it keep saying :"others computers cannot connect to the internet through this computer". What is the problem actually?

Are you using ad hoc connection
