How can I download a song to my computer?

I am working on a video for PDR class, I am not really Movie Maker savvy, so sorry if you think this is a dumb question! I need to download a song onto my computer, so that when I open File and Music, it's there. A friend showed me 2 years ago a way to do it, it was Media Fire or something I am not sure, but you just put the name of the song, it downloads in seconds. Do you know what it is or any other way to download a song onto my computer? Thank you!
